ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Sherie Turnage. I grew up in Perkins Homes projects, located in East Baltimore, Maryland. I am a first generation college student  at Coppin State University, with a goal to get my Master's degree and license so that I can own my own Counseling and Therapy practice.

Social Work has been a passion of mine since middle school. Seeing people become stronger, happier, and healthier has always been my mission. I come from an environment where there was high prevalence of poverty, violence, and drug use and I want to be an agent of change. I am an individual who loves helping others and I am very passionate about everything I do.
